This Is How I Do Corporate

The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary.
— Harvey Specter (Suits)

Hello my awesome friends, how is it going, what's up?

I'm starting today's article with a mighty quote from Harvey Specter, a fictional character in one of my favourite shows 'Suits' (I'm kind of obsessed with this show :D). He says "the only time success comes before work is in the dictionary". And it's true. I think all of us at one point or another have heard a story of someone's immensely quick overnight success. But often times that's not really the case. It's actually a lot of hard work, energy and perseverance put into a specific project or a dream, sometimes over a long period of time filled with countless obstacles. But that someone was truly focused, had a vision, passion and determination to succeed, and they worked relentlessly to make it happen. In other words, you should always believe in your vision, stay focused and have a little patience. It may not happen overnight, but if you truly believe in yourself, success will definitely come around!

So, essentially watching a few episodes of 'Suits' inspired today's outfit. Corporate style often times can turn out looking monotonous and dull, so I wanted to show you a vibrant, cool way to rock a corporate trend in the city. I played with neutral and bright colours to create this look. Sandy beige and sky blue are true colours of spring that contrast each other in a very delicate way, and look great in the office space. I specifically chose these high-waisted fancy pants, because they're not your traditional office trousers, but they're equally versatile for any occasion, and that's what I love most about them. So they're definitely a good buy! I just adore these beautiful high heels in red. They make a real statement and bring girly coolness to the preppy outfit. What do you think?
