Something Blue

Good things are associated with blue, like clear days, more than singing the blues. Just the word ‘blue’ in the singular is full of optimism and positive connotation to most people.

Salut mes amis! Hope you had a beautiful weekend. So March is coming to an end, but the weather in the city is somehow back to it's cold grey. Yet naturally,  I'm still hoping  for some sun rays and warm breeze in the near future.

I was de-cluttering and re-organising my wardrobe for spring/summer the other day, and honestly I realised that I have a habit of collecting countless of beautiful garments and shoes only to pile them up in the farthest corner of my closet. I admit that in everyday situation, especially, when it's gloomy and rainy outside I tend to wear comfy "favourite" clothes of mine, like an old pair of blue jeans with white chunky knit sweater or a cosy navy jersey dress with stripy slip-ons. But to be absolutely frank, I love dressing up, I love mixing pretty patterns and putting together a well matched mismatch of sporty and elegant garment pieces together, I love ballerina pumps, stilettos, sandals, So Kate Louboutins, sneakers and espadrilles. I love fashion and I truly appreciate the beauty of fine couture, I guess these are some of the reasons why I decided to create this blog in the first place - to be able to enjoy and share my take on fashion with you all here.

As I discovered my lovely, timeless and quintessential Salvatore Ferragamo pumps in the wake of the spring wardrobe re-organisation, I decided to wear them to meet my friends for a nice stroll around town. The look I went for was urban and simple, with a twist of classic elegance. So, spontaneously and in the moment, we captured this outfit of the day on an iPhone! Yes, iPhone. I reckon the photos came out pretty sweetly, hence I am showing them to you today. Let me know what you think, as always, I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions. Have a nice week, lovelies! :)
