Henna Heart

A thankful heart is not only the greatest virtue, but the parent of all the other virtues.

Hello friends, hope you had a wonderful Easter break! As for me, I have a really sweet tooth, so it was a total chocolate overload over the weekend. But I suppose a little four-day-long dessert over-indulgence is perfectly fine, as long as one does not do it too often :D. I think there is magic in rarity of things, because it brings forth appreciation and thankfulness - good things to remember! Plus being healthy on a daily basis is awesome, so too much sugar is probably not a good idea.

I've got something special for today's post! Transcending forward a neon colour  breakdown from 90s New York street style scene, this look is laid-back and homey with a pop of washed grey and carrot pink. There is something about easy comfort style, it echoes unrefined effortless fashion and is just so appealing for day and weekend wear. I love those "it took me 5 minutes to dress up" outfits for casual wear, it's cool stuff.

Here I'm wearing a very cosy top from T-Shirt Policy London's new collection, with an enigmatic henna heart printed on the front. I really like it, it's so funky and a real statement-maker! I've paired this top with clean-cut shorts in matching pinkish colour. As far as accessories go, I kept it simple with a faux leather bracelet and a mahogany brown shoulder bag.
